Just finished my second adventure with Alaska Kenai Adventures. All I can say is WOW. The cabins are immaculate: comfy beds, nice bathroom and hot showers. All meals are taken care of in the lounge. In the morning, breakfast will be waiting for you in the fridge along with sandwiches for lunch. Dinner is typically at 6pm, which is for lack of a better word - BOMB!
Gear: AKA supplies you with waders and fishing poles for your adventures. If you are fishing off property, the guide will supply you with poles.
The manager, Pierce, is more than accommodating. He practices what he preaches by supplying high quality experiences to each guest. AKA is one of a few that process fish in house. You come back to camp from a successful fishing trip, hand your AKA supplied cooler to Pierce and Landon and they will begin cleaning and putting your fish in vacuum sealed bags, then directly into a giant walk-in freezer. YOU will take home the fish YOU catch.
This experience is all around great. The scenery, the bountiful fish, and the comradery at camp. It truly is nothing short of an Adventure with Alaska Kenai Adventures.

Food and lodging was immaculate. The daily fishing limit was the least of my worries as I’d met my limit and my fish was processed on site. Professionally vacuum packaged and frozen with care for my long journey home! I’d forgotten my sweater and they had one available at the lodge which saved my fishing trip! The lodge manager Peirce was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to help me with the proper fishing techniques for targeting sockeye! It was easy limits from there out!!!

Spent a 5-day, 3-charter trip with AKA and I can't rave enough about the experience! From top-notch guides (at lodge or on charters) and delicious dinners, AKA absolutely exceeded my expectations. It was immediately obvious that the staff were personally invested in their guests having a great time, whether it be showing a novice exactly the right place to stand to make sure their lure would hit a productive hole, coordinating with the best charters or just simply chatting after an exciting day on the water. I brought a group of customers for a business retreat, and the whole flight back was filled with stories of the trip and vows to do it again!
